AI Meal Estimates

Jamie's Food Tracker may send meal descriptions, food photos, leftover photos, and related meal context to AI service providers to generate nutrition estimates. Nutrition information generated by Jamie's Food Tracker is an estimate only. AI-generated estimates may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your specific dietary, medical, or health needs. Users are responsible for reviewing and correcting estimates before relying on them.

Third-Party Services

We may use third-party service providers to operate the app, including:

• Supabase, for authentication, database, backend functions, and storage.
• OpenAI, for AI-based food and nutrition estimation.
• Google Play, for app distribution and payments.
• Payment processors or billing providers, if purchases are enabled.

These providers may process data as needed to provide their services.

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the app, such as authentication, hosting, storage, AI estimation, payment processing, analytics, diagnostics, and customer support providers. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us.

Photos

Photos submitted for meal estimates may be processed by our backend and AI service providers. Recent thumbnails may be stored on your device. Server-side photo handling may change as the app develops, but photos will only be used to provide app functionality, improve estimates, support the user experience, or comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your meal photos. We do not use your meal photos to train our own public AI models.

Payments and Credits

Jamie's Food Tracker may offer paid downloads, starter estimate credit, or in-app purchases. We track app credit balances and estimate usage to provide paid services and prevent abuse. App credits have no cash value, are not financial products, and cannot be withdrawn, transferred, or redeemed outside the app.

We may collect and store information about your app credit balance, credit purchases, credit redemptions, and AI estimate usage so we can provide paid app features, prevent abuse, resolve support issues, and maintain accurate account records.

Data Retention

We keep account information, meal entries, food photos, nutrition estimates, app credit balance and AI estimate usage, in-app purchase records, support messages, and device/app diagnostics for as long as needed to provide the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and improve our services. You may request deletion of your account or data by contacting support.

Your Choices

You may choose not to submit meal photos or food descriptions. Some features may not work without this information. You may request account deletion or data access by contacting us.

Children

Jamie's Food Tracker is not intended for children under 13 and is not designed for use by children or families as defined by Google Play's Families policies.

Health Disclaimer

Jamie's Food Tracker is for general wellness and food tracking. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for professional nutrition, medical, or healthcare advice. Jamie's Food Tracker does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect user information. No system is perfectly secure.
